Salary Negotiation Guide (“we,” “us”) is operated by Caemus LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy describes what we collect when you use salarynegotiationguide.com and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Offer details you submit — job title, location, salary and compensation figures, years of experience, and any offer notes you paste. This is the input your analysis is built from.
• Your email address — used to deliver your report and the purchase receipt.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our servers.
• Technical basics — IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention) and standard analytics events (pages viewed, steps completed).

How we use it

• To generate your salary analysis and, if you purchase, your full report. Generating the analysis requires sending your offer details (never your email or payment details) to the AI providers that power the analysis — currently Anthropic, Perplexity, and OpenRouter, a routing gateway that may process requests through other major model vendors (such as OpenAI, Google, or Mistral). These providers process your data solely to produce your analysis; we use API services under terms that do not permit using customer data to train models.
• To deliver your report by email (via Resend, our email provider).
• To store your report so your private link keeps working (Supabase, our database provider, hosted in the United States).
• To understand aggregate funnel behavior and improve the product (analytics providers — Google Analytics and PostHog).
• Location autocomplete on the form is provided by Google Maps and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure processes requests to serve it.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with employers or recruiters. There is no account system and no marketing list — the only emails you receive are your receipt and your report.

Retention

Your report and the inputs behind it are retained so your report link continues to work. Email support@salarynegotiationguide.com from the address you used and we’ll delete your data on request.

Cookies

We use an essential cookie to secure access to your report, and analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. No advertising cookies are set by us.

Access to your report

Your report is available via a private, unguessable link sent to your email. Don’t share the link if you don’t want others seeing your report.

Scope

The service is offered for roles in the United States and intended for U.S. users; data is processed and stored in the United States. The service is not directed to children under 16.

Your rights

Depending on your state (including under the CCPA if you’re a California resident), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Email support@salarynegotiationguide.com and we’ll honor these requests.

Changes

We’ll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
