Legal
Terms of Service
Effective: July 2026
These terms govern your use of salarynegotiationguide.com, operated by Caemus LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to them.
1. What the service is
We provide a market-informed analysis of your job offer and, for a one-time $29 purchase, a full negotiation report — a counter range, a ready-to-send counter email, and supporting decision tools. The analysis is built from public U.S. government wage data (Bureau of Labor Statistics OEWS; O*NET), live market research, and AI-assisted analysis of the details you provide.
2. What the service is not
The report is informational decision support. It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional career advice, and it is not a guarantee of any negotiation outcome. Market figures are estimates built from the sources above; real offers vary by company, team, and timing. You are responsible for the decisions you make and the messages you send.
3. Price and delivery
The full report is a one-time $29 purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges. Reports are typically ready within minutes of payment; you’ll receive an email with your private report link. If generation fails, our systems retry automatically, and if we can’t deliver, you’re refunded automatically (see §4).
4. Refunds
If the Playbook doesn’t help you counter, reply to your receipt email within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund the $29 in full.
If we ever fail to deliver your Playbook, we refund automatically — you don’t need to ask.
5. Your inputs
You confirm the offer details you submit are yours to share. Don’t submit someone else’s personal information.
6. License
Your report is for your personal use in your own negotiation. Don’t resell, republish, or offer it as a service.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the free analysis (automated scraping, bulk submission, attempting to disrupt the service). We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that market estimates match any particular employer’s compensation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us ($29). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost wages or lost job opportunities.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Wyoming.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted on this page. Material changes will be dated.
